Cookie Policy
Effective from: 6 October 2026 · Version 2.0
This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are used by the website www.lexibor.si, what we use them for and how you can manage your consent.
The website is operated by Lexibor, pravno in poslovno svetovanje d.o.o. (Lexibor, Legal and Business Consulting d.o.o.), Ribnik 7, 1420 Trbovlje ([email protected]). More information on the processing of personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser or device when you visit it. They enable the website to function, to remember your settings (e.g. your decision on cookies) and, if you consent, enable us to monitor website traffic. The same rules apply to similar technologies, such as storing data in the browser’s local storage.
2. Legal basis
The use of cookies is governed by Article 225 of the Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-2, Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 130/22, as amended). Without your consent, we may use only cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the website or for a service you have explicitly requested (paragraph two of Article 225). For all other cookies we need your prior consent (paragraph one of Article 225). Where cookies contain personal data, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) also applies.
3. How we obtain your consent and how you can withdraw it
On your first visit, a banner is displayed with two equivalent buttons, “Accept all” and “Reject all”, and a “Preferences” button, where you give consent separately for each category. Until you make a choice, only essential cookies are loaded. Continuing to browse the website does not constitute consent.
You can change your decision or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and does not affect the lawfulness of use before the withdrawal. We keep your decision for 6 months, after which we will ask you again.
4. Cookies we use
4.1 Essential cookies (no consent required)
These cookies are necessary for the operation and security of the website and for remembering your decision on cookies. You cannot switch them off on the website, but you can block them in your browser, which may affect how the website works.
- cmplz_functional, cmplz_statistics, cmplz_marketing, cmplz_preferences, cmplz_banner-status, cmplz_policy_id, cmplz_consented_services – Lexibor (lexibor.si) – remember your decision on cookies – 6 months.
- _GRECAPTCHA (browser local storage) – Google Ireland Limited (Google reCAPTCHA) – protection of the contact form against misuse and automated (bot) messages – until deleted in the browser.
- __cf_bm – Cloudflare, Inc. – protection of the website against malicious automated visits – 30 minutes.
- wordpress_test_cookie, wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wp-settings-* – Lexibor (lexibor.si) – login and settings of website editors; not set for visitors – from the end of the session up to 1 year.
The Google reCAPTCHA service is loaded on the pages of the website so that, when a form is submitted, it can assess whether the message is being sent by a human. In doing so, Google processes technical data about your device and behaviour on the site (e.g. IP address).
4.2 Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
With analytics cookies we collect aggregated statistical data on how visitors use the website (e.g. which pages are read most) so that we can improve the content. They are set only once you consent to them (the “Statistics” category).
- _ga – Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics 4) – distinguishing visitors for statistical purposes – 2 years.
- _ga_TMBW0X4LYJ – Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics 4) – maintaining session state – 2 years.
We use Google Analytics without advertising features (Google signals and data sharing with Google are switched off), and we keep data in Google Analytics for 14 months. Data may be transferred to the USA to Google LLC, which participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (see the Privacy Policy, Section 8).
4.3 External content (only with your consent)
The “Contact” page features a Google Maps map showing the location of our office. When the map loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. The map is therefore loaded only once you explicitly enable it (using the button on the map image or by consenting to the “External content” category). Until then, only a placeholder image is displayed. The processing of data by Google is subject to Google’s privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
- Google Maps (Google cookies, e.g. NID) – Google Ireland Limited – display of an interactive map – up to 6 months.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Instructions are available on the manufacturers’ websites:
